NEGAL

As the party dwindled, with more than half the guests having left, Negal started his slow seduction of Margo by massaging her toes.

After admitting to being ready, she'd been so nervous that he'd started to doubt her assertion, and his doubts had only increased when he'd told her that he couldn't secure a private cabin for tonight and had seen her visibly relax.

That was why he hadn't told her about the plan Dagor had suggested, deciding it would be better to just let it unfold naturally. He would offer to once again sleep on the couch in the living room and leave the initiative of inviting him to her bedroom up to Margo.

Despite the urgency of the situation, their first time together shouldn't happen under pressure.

Sitting in a chair with her feet on his knees, he kneaded and rubbed, eliciting soft moans of pleasure that stirred a predictable reaction from him. Thankfully, the lighting was dim, and his tux jacket covered the evidence.

"Are foot massages your secret talent?" Margo teased.

Working his fingers gently on her arches, he smirked. "It's just one among many."

Her eyes sparkled with interest. "What are your other talents?"

Negal hoped to demonstrate his other talents tonight, but he didn't say that. Keeping Margo relaxed was his number one priority right now, and since she was well aware of how much he wanted her, there was no chance of her misunderstanding his lack of initiative for disinterest.

When she felt truly ready, she would take the next step.

"That looks so good." Frankie plopped on a chair next to Margo and toed off her ridiculously high heels. "I could use some of that." She cast a smile at Dagor. "Any volunteers?"

Pretending innocence, he arched a brow and looked around. "Maybe I can find someone for you."

She grabbed a napkin off the table and threw it at him. "Sit."

"Yes, ma'am." He pulled out a chair on Frankie's other side and lifted her feet onto his lap.

Margo smiled. "I thought that turning immortal would mean no more toe pain from high heels."

"I still feel pain just as I did before." Frankie's expression turned blissful as Dagor went to work on her feet. "But thankfully, not for long because I recover so quickly. This, though, feels divine." She sighed. "Still, I'm a little peeved about not gaining more inches during my transition. It would have been nice not to need high heels."

"Amanda wears heels," Margo said. "And she's very tall."

"So is the bride." Frankie shifted her gaze to Kri, who was still on the dance floor with her groom after long hours of dancing. "Kri is smart. She's wearing flats."

Listening to their conversation, Negal absentmindedly kept rubbing Margo's toes while thinking of the best way to steer the four of them toward the cabin so he could put Dagor's plan in motion.

His teammate cast him a knowing look and then gently lifted Frankie's feet off his lap. "Are you ready to call it a night?" He lowered her feet to the floor and leaned down to collect her shoes.
