A NEIGHBORHOOD OF PEACE AND SAFETY

DECLARATION

WE declare that the neighborhood where we live shall be safe and without disturbance. We prophesy peace over our neighborhood and over our streets. We say that our area shall be protected from violence, mischief, mayhem, accident, calamity, and destruction, in Jesus’ Name! We say there shall be no robberies, break-ins, home invasions, kidnappings, murders, rapes, or any other forms of assault or acts of terror, in the Name of Jesus. We declare that all who live here live safely and securely. We speak over our neighborhood and decree it is a peaceful neighborhood that is calm and quiet. All who live here uphold a peaceful way of life that is considerate and mannerly, and those who would elicit evil will depart the area and not return. We prophesy the protection of the Lord is upon us and around us. We stand upon our sidewalks and streets and say this is a neighborhood of peace and safety and no acts of evil shall enter here!

SCRIPTURE

But whoever listens to me will live in safety and be at ease, without fear of harm (Proverbs 1:33 NIV).

WORD OF ENCOURAGEMENT

With increased levels of violence and unrest happening in the world, people are growing more concerned about their own safety. Speaking and decreeing the protection of the Lord not just over your life and home personally, but also over your neighbors and neighborhood is important. None of us wants to live in an environment invaded by some form of terror. I believe our neighbors, even if unsaved, can come under the Lord’s protection simply because we are standing in the gap and setting up a hedge on their behalf. Through the power of our decree, we can become the restraining force against evil. We can become the “neighborhood watch,” so to speak, in the spirit realm! We have authority over all demonic powers, and that includes those that would try to invade our neighborhoods. Your declaration over your area can be the very thing that will keep your neighborhood safe and free from the attacks of evil.
