Precious child,

Whatever thoughts might come today, please remember that I am the One who rescues. Just like I rescued the Israelites from the hands of the pharaoh, I delivered you from the clutches of sin. I sent Jesus for you. He reached down and drove out the darkness that had been growing in your soul. I am the One who saves you each day from the enemy’s oppression so you can be free to focus on My heart. I rescue you from apathy and fill your heart with compassion for people who are not like you. People who are poor by the world’s standard are rich in My eyes. I rescue the fatherless and give them hope.

Learn from Me by keeping My Word in your heart. Let My goodness overwhelm your whole way of looking at the gift of days I have given you. Pray to know My purposes and be a humble servant who lives each moment by faith. Have patience to wait on Me and My timing for your life. Don’t forget to love people by speaking words of kindness and concern. Endure the hardships of life, knowing that I will rescue you from them all. The world runs after evil, and once the enemy knows you are Mine, he will try to attack your self-esteem. He will try to deceive you into thinking that you don’t matter.

But I will rescue you from all of the persecution and deception. Your job is to continue living what you are learning from Me. Continue planting My words in your heart. I breathed out the words of holy scripture so they wouldn’t just be words on a page. They rescue your mind from the enemy’s accusations and lies. They make you wise by teaching you more about Me. They help you teach others that salvation comes only through faith in Jesus. I am here, and I love you!
