Cole

Amberly lay beside me on the bed, her eyes closed and her breathing even. The moonlight streamed through the open window, illuminating her peaceful expression. The small tension lines that were normally at the corners of her eyes had disappeared. It was the first time I’d seen her without them.

I brushed my thumb over her smooth skin and vowed that if all it took was some mind-blowing sex to relax her, I was certainly up for the task. Literally.

All I had to do was look at her or picture her bending over for me back on that porch and bam—instant erection. I could wake her up, was dying to in fact, but the gentlemen in me wasn’t having it. She was at peace, exactly where she’d stay as long as she liked.

But when she woke up, all bets were off. Now that I’d had her, I wasn’t sure I’d ever be able to get enough.

I’d found my mate. They’d understand.

“Hey you,” Amberly said, her voice full of sleep and sex.

A smile claimed my lips as I brushed a lock of hair out of her eyes. “Hey yourself, princess. Have a nice nap?”

She shook her head slightly and reached for me. “I missed you.”

“I was right here the entire time.”

“I know.” Her hand curled around the back of my neck, tugging me down. “I dreamed we were making love. Now I’m all worked up and in need of your cock between my legs.”
