Ava stood at the foot of the bed, peering from brother to brother. It was one thing to allow Wolfe to insert the plug in her bottom hole, when it was night and the room was dim, but having both twins stare at her expectantly in the bright morning light while waiting for her to bend over and spread her ass apart was too much. Her hands trembled at her sides and she backed up in the direction of the wall.

“I can remove the plug myself, Masters.” She held her chin high, even though inside she was quaking with nerves. She most certainly didn’t want them removing the plug, and she definitely didn’t want them prying into her private thoughts. She didn’t wish to admit that her reason for hoping they claim her together soon was because she feared they might change their minds.

Everything she’d ever wanted was so close she could nearly touch it. But until they actually claimed her, anything could happen to alter her present course. She couldn’t stop thinking about the time she’d been so certain Monrock was her salvation, only to be profoundly disappointed when he turned his back on her, refusing to defy his father and then eventually treating her as a common slave, as if all the years they spent together as children meant nothing. Tears burned in her eyes, and she shuddered and glanced down, hoping neither brother noticed her level of upset.

“Ava, come here.” Jaxon crooked a finger at her as he waited by the foot of the bed. Wolfe stood nearby, apparently ready to assist in the extraction of the plug.

She covered her bottom and stared at them. Heated waves of shame coursed through her, and she kept backing up, trying to put as much space between her and the brothers as possible. She gulped and tried to feel for the base of the plug. If she pulled it out before they could get to her, it would lessen her embarrassment and she wouldn’t be forced to bend over and pull her behind cheeks apart.

“Ava, you’ve been given an order,” Wolfe said, his gaze darkening. “If we must ask again, you’ll be receiving a spanking before the plug comes out. Is that what you want, little slave? A spanking?”

The mention of punishment, while both brothers were staring at her sternly, made the sensitive nubbin of her sex pulse with need. Oh, no. No no no. Now was not the time to become aroused. She pressed her thighs together and continued attempting to pull the plug from her ass, but it wouldn’t budge. Panic swept through her.

“I wish to be alone for a while,” she said, forcing a boldness she didn’t quite feel into her voice. “Leave at once. Get out!” She nodded at the door, praying they respected her wishes, even though this wasn’t her bedroom.

Jaxon strode to the chair he’d left his sword belt lying across. He picked it up and removed the scabbards, then gave her a pointed look.
