A picture may be worth more than a thousand words to social innovators. A single image can create an emotional reaction that only the worlds greatest orators can emulate. Indeed, so powerful are images that before I have given a single example, some images are probably already coming into your mind. Consider the example of Thich Quang Duc. “Who?” you might ask. But you’ll probably recognize his picture (figure 5-1).
