1 tablespoon minced garlic

1½ teaspoons kosher or coarse sea salt

¾ pound aged Teleme, Brie, or Camembert cheese, sliced thinly

6 high-quality hamburger buns, split

½ cup chopped walnuts

4 teaspoons balsamic vinegar

¼ cup extra-virgin olive oil

6 fresh figs, sliced lengthwise

3 cups baby arugula, coarsely torn
