LORKA

Lorka sighed and smiled with a resounding contentment. A million fireflies fluttered in his chest, warming his very soul.

Who knew sex could be that transcendent? In fact, thought Lorka, it was out of this world, beyond any experience he had had, sexually or otherwise. But he supposed the Jalshagar bond had something to do with that, too. The bond created a magical pull, melting together lust, romance, love, and desire into one cataclysmic existence of bliss.

Eden's touch, her kiss, her delicious soft curves. Lorka couldn't put words to it. They eluded him like a mist in the night.

Sure, she had been timid, he thought to himself. He sensed it immediately. But wasn't it normal to worry unnecessarily the first time with someone new? How were either of them to know what to expect?

Lorka hadn't even been certain before using Sagazia’s services that their species' mechanics were compatible. Yet, he was matched to her by the intergalactic dating agency, so he figured proceeding must be acceptable. And it was…more than satisfactory.

The compatibility was utterly perfect, and the sex was amazing. Mind-blowing. Now, he craved more. So much more.

Eden rolled over, trailing a languid finger across his scales, his chest, and the square of his pectoral muscles. The flame of his soul prickled against her touch, threatening to ignite his hunger again. He peered into her big eyes, green like the color of jade. She was more than a gem. She was his treasure.

He glanced down at her body, her curves fluid against the silk sheets. Had the sex been as good for her as it had been for him? He hoped so, but he had to be sure.

"I take it you’re pleased?" He asked.

"Very," she said. Her lips curved into a tantalizing smile, the cupid's bow beckoning him.

Lorka beamed. "I’m happy to hear it," he said through an intense gaze. He cupped her chin and tilted her mouth to meet his with fiery intensity. Tongues entangled in a fervent dance of desire. If only there were enough hours in the night, thought Lorka, he'd take her again, and again, and again, if she permitted.

A devious thought crossed his mind. His hand reached and cradled the swell of Eden's breast. Fingers traced its supple contours before he thumbed her areola. Her nipple's response was immediate.

"Mm," she mumbled once his lips had released her. "I love it when you tease me."

Lorka chuckled, letting his fingers feather down the length of her body, caressing each curve.

"So, do you have to return to your bedchamber soon?" Eden asked, the sultriness of her voice oozing out.

"No," Lorka stated, his voice hoarse with need. "I think I'll stay here with you tonight. That is unless you'd rather I not."

Her smile filled him with hope and wonder.

"Stay. Keep me warm." A sly, inviting smirk played across her lips, taunting him, inviting him.

Lorka grinned, "I was hoping you'd say that."

They lay there a while, exploring each other's bodies. Then, with Lorka's nerves calmed, he coaxed her near the hearth, where silver trays of food and champagne awaited.
