Bake the tenderloin in the oven

4. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with foil.

5. Place the tenderloin on the prepared baking sheet and season with salt and pepper. Roast for 20 to 30 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the thickest part of the meat registers 150°F (65°C) on an instant-read thermometer. Transfer to a carving board to rest for 5 minutes.

6. Carve, then move the carved slices to a skillet over medium heat and toss with half of the glaze. Garnish with sage leaves, if desired. Serve warm and pass extra glaze.
