Shaye was exhausted. She loved working for Dr. T, but this week ended in the full moon and all the paranormals seemed to have lost their minds. Rolf wasn’t kidding when he said the werewolves got hyper, but what he failed to mention was that they also did crazy things like try skateboarding for the first time and breaking an arm or picking fights with each other. Although, it seemed like there were more outsiders in the clinic this week. Rolf had been extremely horny this week too, not that she was complaining, but she was running on less sleep than normal. Tess kept popping in, checking on her. She couldn’t tell Shaye what it was, just a feeling that something was going to happen. Shaye was going to be so happy when the weekend came tomorrow.

‘Love, can you ask Dr. T if I can get some bags for this weekend? After our mating, I asked him to wait, but I think it’s time I had some on hand,’ Rolf asked her.

‘Why? I can feed you,’ Shaye responded, a little hurt that he didn’t want to drink from her.

‘You’re exhausted by this week. Berkley’s mugs have helped a lot, but you are still run-down and I don’t want to make it even worse. Let’s sleep in this weekend to recharge, and I’ll enjoy you on Monday, okay? I’m a little hungrier during the full moon, just not as bad as the werewolves,’ he said as he laughed.

‘Alright, I’ll ask him for some,’ she replied. ‘But I better feel your teeth come Monday!’ Shaye demanded. She smiled as she felt an invisible kiss on his favorite spot to bite on her neck. She had become addicted to feeling his teeth in her neck during sex; it enhanced all the sensations her nerve endings were already feeling and always resulted in an orgasm. Most of the time, he only took a sip or two, not needing to have a full feeding with how much they were intimate with each other.

Walking over to Dr. T’s office, she knocked on the door frame and peeked her head in.

“Morning, Dr. T. Rolf wanted to know if you had any bags on hand that he could get for this weekend?”

“Hmmm. I don’t think I do. I’ll place a rush order over at the hospital for him. It should be here by the end of your shift, so you won’t have to come back. Is everything alright?” he questioned, concerned.

“Yup, everyone is healthy. He just thought I was too tired to drink from this weekend and wanted the bagged blood to have on hand. He said he gets a little hungrier during the full moon, but not as hungry as the werewolves,” she joked.

“Ah, well, I don’t think many people outeat the wolves. Everyone gets a little hungrier during the full moon.”

“Why is that?”

“We’re not entirely sure. I know you’ve heard the expression ‘it’s the full moon’ to explain weird things, but it does seem to hold some truth.
