SET THE RIGHT EXAMPLE

As we aspire to greatness and strive for success, it is easy to neglect our responsibility to those around us.

Working hard is important, and I do not support laziness. I believe in a kingdom-minded work ethic, but there has to be balance. Spending all of your time on building a business or growing a career without giving time to your family and your friends is not healthy either.

Don’t kid yourself. You are not “doing it all for them.” Being a workaholic doesn’t benefit them. And when you let your relationships slide so you can work late, earn a bonus, and keep the boss happy, you are not honoring all God has given you.

Mark my words: If you take care to keep your home life and your work life in balance, God will expand your borders, enlarge your territories, increase your profits, and decrease your stress. You’ll sleep better at night and find that champion who has been dormant for too long.

There is nothing better in the world than doing what God has called you to, having your family with you, and working in harmony where everyone grows. When we make right choices, no matter how hard it is, we will receive blessings.

This generation needs people they can look up to. Be one of them. Set the right example for your children, for those who work with or under you, and for those who are on the outside observing your business practices. Keep your priorities straight. Keep yourself and your time balanced so you can BE MORE.
