Very few electrical contractors can operate within the confines of just one inspection jurisdiction. Electrical contractors promote and support efforts toward uniformity.

NECA and IEC do this on a national basis. It is a part of the responsibility of a qualified contractor. In many areas, these efforts are coordinated with those of the electrical inspectors.
