Failing to Perceive Auras

If you think you cannot see auras then you definitely will not perceive them. First you must acknowledge that sensing energy is a fundamental sensual ability of humans. We are wired for perceiving from physical life and we are wired for psychic awareness. It kept us alive in the caves of ancient times and kept us alive and well throughout our personal history. You must now accept that you are simply going to perceive energy fields. Immediately accept and understand that this is an innate ability that you can practice everywhere and with everyone.

You will find that it is easier to practice sensing the aura when people are pumped up or excited. Practice with people who are presenting a speech or performing before others. Look above a group of people who are singing together, such as a choir, and look for the energy that is building as they sing. Watch a teacher present a lecture. People who are performing before others tend to emit a higher level of energy at those times and as a result, it is easier to sense the energy field around them.

As you begin to practice perceiving auras do not try hard to look for color! Only look for a thickness in the air around the head and shoulders of people. The air will appear slightly denser an inch or so from the body. You might detect a faint line where the air seems to go from thicker to thinner a couple of inches from the head.

Remember, the aura is extremely subtle because it is non-physical. It is not solid in any way, shape or form and it will not sit there waiting for you. It is wispy, flowing, shooting outward and shrinking back. It is completely transparent. It is alive and lively. So not expect it to look physical or thick or stable or solid. Every thought changes this energy field. Every emotion changes it instantly as well. As you begin to practice sensing auras do not focus on seeing colors. Focus only on seeing wispy, changing fleeting movement. One second you think you see it and the next minute it is gone.

ESSENTIAL POINT:

The aura is alive, moving and transparent. It does not hold still.

Basic Steps to Perceive Auras.

1. Practice with a person who is energetic and feeling well because their aura will be larger and more vibrant. Have that person stand near a smooth wall of a neutral color. Know the difference between an existing shadow and the aura. Change the lighting so there are no shadows around the person.

2. Remember to let the imagination wave to flow through your mind and allow the spirit mind to feel daydreamy.

3. Do not try hard to do this. Do not use any effort.

4. Allow your eyes to unfocus. Let them feel lazy or heavy. If you are an eyeglass wearer take them off while you practice.
