In the model parameter identification process, the change in model parameters is reflected by the difference of terminal voltage. Using optimization methods (such as GA) to identify model parameters, different combinations of model parameters correspond to different terminal voltage output results. The set of parameters that minimize the root mean square (RMS) error of terminal voltage is considered to be the optimal model parameter identification results. Taking the Thevenin model as an example, the terminal voltage is expressed as Eq. (4.42).
