Chapter 14
Omar had spent the last few months in Detroit. The information Destiny had given him on the Syndicate and their activities within the city had proven invaluable. He was now preparing to shake their seemingly unopposed reign by hitting them where it would hurt them mostâtheir pockets. A series of attacks would soon cripple their ability to rake in the millions the crew had been generating.
Omar turned to his man, Big Rico, who sat in the passenger seat of the Suburban, staring intently at their target. âYo, you ready to set this in motion, my man?â
âCan't think of anything I would rather be doing than plotting on one of the Syndicate's drug spots,â Rico said. His Dexter Avenue 50 Strong Crew and The Syndicate had yet to have any run-ins, but beneath the surface he had harbored a hatred for them. He saw the Eastside clique as arrogant. They needed to be put in check.
âYou don't act ready,â Omar said.
âBecause I don't act.â He removed two grenades from his coat pocket and pulled down his mask.
Omar nodded. âThat's what I like to hear.â He gave the other occupants of the truck blank stares as he watched them duplicate Rico's actions. Omar punched a number into his phone and then lifted it to his ear. âIt's a go on this end, and I want the rest of our teams to move immediately.â He shut the phone and told his crew, âI don't want anyone left breathing when we leave.â Omar pulled down his mask, thinking he was finally going to let the young wannabe gangsters known as The Syndicate find out how real the game could be. He exited the truck with his crew and headed toward the drug house. Omar knew this was just one target of the carnage that he had orchestrated to take place around the city simultaneously. If things worked as he had planned, The Syndicate would have no members to oppose him.
There would be no Syndicate.

Big A was in a zone as he wheeled his 745 BMW through the Eastside of Detroit. He had just finished a long night of sampling the charms of a slew of women at the infamous Hojos strip club. He was sated and jaded.
Big A reflected on his night as he steered down Grey. The unmistakable sounds of explosions up ahead startled him. Flashes and more explosions took place along with gunfire as he neared his crack house. He smashed down on the accelerator, speeding forward to aid his crew who he assumed were trapped inside. Big A reached for his .40-caliber and prepared to engage the masked men he saw opening fire as they attempted to make their escape from the scene.

The block was dark, save for the sparks of gunfire and explosives that painted the atmosphere as Omar and his crew let loose on The Syndicate's crack house. From the corner of his eye he could see Rico laying down cover fire as their crew backpedaled toward their truck.
