Bake with Dates : Natural, Healthy, Vegan Recipes Made without Sugar by Lowenberg Susan

Procedure

1. Spray 8" square pan with cooking spray.

2. Combine date syrup and cornstarch.

3. Combine blueberries and date syrup/cornstarch mixture in baking pan and microwave for 1-5 minutes, until warm. Stir.

4. Using a blender, puree dates, sour almond milk, and applesauce.

5. Combine flour and baking power.

6. Add date mixture to dry ingredients and stir until just blended.

7. Spoon biscuit crust in mounds on top of the blueberry filling.

8. Bake at 400° F for about 25-30 minutes, until the cobbler crust is golden brown.
