On each LED bend the shorter or negative lead at about 1/4 inch or just above the funny spot in the lead. Put 8 of them into the template. Bend the long leads down in the other direction, and solder them together. Then do the same for the next 8 LED’s but this time also solder the shorter leads together.
On the next page there is a picture of the board with the first row of LED’s in place.
The next picture shows four rows that have been completed. If you install the LED’s early you will have to remove them in order to bend their leads.
