Cassidy

The following day…

“Aye, this muthafuckin’ place still look the same,” I said to Jourdin the moment we walked inside of Chuck E’ Cheese with the kid. Shit had been crazy, and this was the first time I was able to make my way back around to formally introducing myself the right way to my daughter.

That lil’ bitch, DeeDee, had ran a nigga off and had fucked up the family reunion, but Jourdin had hipped me to game and let me know that Cassie was a Chuck E Cheese kid, so I just knew we had to fall through.

I couldn’t believe my ass had a damn daughter. I was still trying to get used to how that shit sounded in my damn head and figure out how I was going to cope. For a nigga like me, having a daughter was devastating. I wasn’t shit and the way I dogged hoes…well the way I dogged women wasn’t nothing nice, and now, I feared my daughter was gonna suffer for all the damn hearts I broke. A nigga felt like reaching out to Tangie and making up with her ass, but I knew that I was gonna have to tell her about Cassie, and it wasn’t gonna do shit but remind me of why I was good on her ass. She wanted a perfect ass nigga, and I was far from it.

“You want to find us somewhere to sit, and I’ll order us some food and get some tokens for Cassie?” Jourdin said, breaking me from my thoughts. I looked down at her and licked my lips as my eyes ran over her thick ass thighs. She was wearing some leggings that had her looking thick as fuck. I nodded my head and rubbed my hands together while watching her walk away. Her hips swayed from side to side while, with each step she took, her ass jiggled.

“Daddy, come on!” Cassie said, as she grabbed my arm and tugged it. I immediately came out my trance and gave my young one all my attention. She took off running through the play yard, and I lightly jogged behind her to keep up with her.

“I wanna play this one,” Cassie squealed.

“We ain’t got no tokens. We gotta wait until your mama get us some bread for this shit,” I told her, and her smile turned into a big ass frown. She folded her arms over her chest and stuck her little foot out while blinking her eyes rapidly. My brows furrowed as I looked down at her, and for some reason, I started to feel bad as fuck. Was she about to cry?

“But I wanna play this one,” Cassie said sounding sad. I saw a little tear slide from her eye, and I started to look around trying to see what I could do. I saw a little boy not far from me that had a shitload of tokens just laying in front of him, so I decided to walk over and grab a few.
