The great deterrent to living in the golden secret is our unwillingness to die so our spirits may vibrate with the life of God. Apart from this effort of our independent selves to live on, dwelling in God in peace would be spontaneous and virtually effortless. Instead, we wander so unnecessarily alone.

However, we find restoration in the reality that Christ is in us, our life and all, and we are in Him, where we can rest contentedly at home, receiving His all-sufficient supply. In using this golden key, we turn in our spirits from ourselves and our circumstances to God.
