“$100,000… $100 fuckin’ thousand dollars! Hmmm, this bitch must’ve bumped her head. She must have forgot who the fuck I was!” I ranted out loud as I poured myself another glass of Henny.

I thought my boys could handle it but obviously they couldn’t. The shit I was dealing with was way out of their league and since they couldn’t get it done, it was time for me to do things my way.

“Momo… Come on, girl. I need you to drive me somewhere,” I yelled to her in her bedroom before swallowing a mouthful of Hennessy.

“What’s going on, girl, where we going?”

“I’ll tell you when I come out of the bathroom.” I was sitting on the toilet bowl tapping my feet out of anxiety when I decided to call Kandi and remind this bitch of a few things. The phone rang twice before she finally answered.

“Hello.”

I went straight to the point. “Okay, bitch… I see you wanna do this the hard way,” I said with an attitude.

“Who is this?” she asked as if she didn’t recognize my voice.

“It’s the bitch whose husband you was fuckin’… I thought I made it clear I wanted all my fuckin’ money.”

“Hold up. I told your boys I needed a few more days and…”

“And my ass… My sons don’t know you like I do. You got one hour to have the rest of my shit!”

“But I don’t…”

“Listen here, trick. It’s bad enough you were fuckin’ my husband, now you wanna play with my money?! Who the fuck you think you talking to, Kandi? You don’t think Heath told me about your secret stash? Just like he told you about me, he told me all about you! Bitch, I know you keep close to half a million in cash close by in case of an emergency and this is a motherfuckin’ emergency! Now my boys told me about that nice penthouse you live in and if you wanna keep your nice job, you better give me my shit!” was the last thing I said before hanging up on her.

I had dirt on Kandi that could ruin her life and she knew it. Her hands were just as dirty as mine when Heath was alive and probably still are. After wiping myself clean, I flushed the toilet and washed my hands before leaving the bathroom and joining Momo in the living room.

Kandi owed me too much money and I’d waited too long to just let it go like that. I tried it Rahmel’s way, now I was going to do it the way Heath taught me, by force if necessary. Heath could be a calm and rational person until you owed him something. Behind closed doors, Heath was capable of some really fucked up shit!

I asked Momo to drive me to Big Cats Lounge because Jahmel seem to be willing to handle things my way. Momo didn’t ask any questions as she drove me to see my son. I had planned on getting by the club sooner under different circumstances, but I was still getting used to being free.
