16. Seasoned Creamy Sausage Frittata
This classic Italian recipe featuring cooked sausage, sharp cheddar, eggs and sour cream is a fine homemade breakfast or brunch option that’s made in your Instant Pot.
Makes: 4 servings
Prep: 10 mins
Cook: 17 mins
Ingredients:
½ cup cooked sausage
1 ½ cups water
¼ cup cheddar cheese
4 eggs, beaten
2 tbsp. sour cream
Salt & pepper
Directions:
Pour water the Instant Pot & lower in the steamer rack.
Grease а 6 to 7-inch soufflé dish.
Whisk the eggs & sour cream together in a bowl.
Add cheese, sausage, salt, and pepper. Stir
Pour the mix into the dish and wrap with foil all over; ensure to wrap tightly.
Lower right into the steam rack and close the lid of the pot.
Press “Manual” and then put it on “Low” pressure for 17 minutes.
Quick-release the pressure when the time is up. Serve the dish while still hot!
