Onboard Experiences

Onboard UFO experiences are perhaps the most controversial area of UFO research. It is one thing to see a UFO in the sky or on the ground, but it is quite another to be taken inside. And yet thousands of people believe they have been abducted by aliens, and there are strong indications that the experience is much more common that most people believe. According to a survey taken by the Roper Organization in 1991, one in fifty people show the markers common to alien abductions. Some of these markers include: a close-up UFO sighting, missing time, unexplained scars/marks, and more. If true, there are millions of people who have been inside UFOs.

Whatever the case, onboard cases cannot be ignored. In fact, they have the potential to impart more information than perhaps any other type of UFO experience. In these cases, people are able to actually interact with the ETs, sometimes even having long conversations.

The nearly fifty onboard cases that follow represent only a fraction of the actual number of cases.

“I Floated through the Ceiling”

One night in 1952, a little girl who lived with her parents in Tucson awoke to see a white beam of light shining down at a slanted angle through the ceiling. She gripped her doll as the beam of light struck her. Says the witness: “I floated up the bright white light through the ceiling.” She doesn’t remember anything after that, but states that the event has never left her memory, and that following that incident she had other encounters. She also pointed out that their home in Tucson was located along the perimeter of the original west fence of Davis-Monthan Air Force Base.120

“Although this happened many years ago, I am just now able to talk about it. I struggled for years as to whether this was an actual event or just some sort of hallucination.” So writes a young man of an experience that occurred outside Phoenix. At the time, the man was a guitarist in a small band that was touring the country playing music. The year was 1968. They had finished their gig in Phoenix and were hanging out in their van around 3:00 a.m. smoking marijuana when one of them noticed a bright light approaching them from the distance. Assuming it was the cops, they stashed their drugs and waited. Says the witness: “Well, it didn’t take long before we realized it was not a cop car, but something we could not explain.”

Everybody in the group began to panic as they realized that they weren’t hallucinating, and it wasn’t the police. Instead, it was something they were not prepared for. Says the witness:

I WASN’T THE ONLY ONE THAT SAW THIS THING. SOME OF US STARTED GIGGLING UNCONTROLLABLY. I WET MYSELF, AND OUR SOUND GUY FAINTED. NEXT THING I KNOW I AM IN A ROOM LAYING ON A TABLE LOOKING UP AT SOME VERY BRIGHT LIGHTS. NOT COOL … I WAS FREAKING OUT. THEN THINGS STARTED TO GET WEIRD.
