“What’s the matter baby?” asked Josie, looking concerned.
“It’s nothing Josie, really. Your new friend Sam was one of Kennedy’s guys, and he sent a message to me through him,” Russell explained, looking at Josie smiling.
“Well what did he say?” asked Josie, crossing her arms in front of her.
“He told me that I got this one off. But if I don’t stop fucking with you, he’s not going to miss next time,” said Russell, smiling at Josie. All of a sudden, she realized where she’d seen Sam. He was in a picture that used to sit on Leslie’s mantle.
“Who the fuck does he think he is?” asked Josie angrily. She turned and walked toward the men’s room door. Sam came out as Josie approached, and was startled by her presence.
“You tell that bitch ass nigga Kennedy that I said fuck him! He should have been man enough to come here and tell Russell face-to-face what he has to say, his motherfucking self! And…tell that nigga that instead of worrying about who I’m up here fucking. He better have that skanky ass $2 hoe up out of his house by the time I get back to St. Louis or else it’s going to be hell to tell the captain!” shouted Josie. Mike noticed Josie yelling and screaming at Sam, so he came over to see what was going on, because it was making a scene.
“What’s up cousin?” asked Mike, watching Josie.
“It’s nothing really Mike. I’ll call you tomorrow and give you the scoop,” said Russell, smiling as he watched Josie go off.
“Man! She was pissed off,” said Mike, shaking his head.
“You better go get her before that man t-off on her.”
“Shit! It’s more like I better go get her before she t-off on him,” Russell replied, walking towards them.
“Aye mami! Come on let’s go!” Josie turned and looked at Russell with her face frowned up. Before she walked away from Sam, she mushed him in the face. He started laughing at her, because he was turned on by Josie‘s fire.
“I see why Kennedy’s going crazy over you,” said Sam, taunting her. “You’re hot as a fire cracker, baby!” Josie stopped dead in her tracks and turned to face Sam.
“You’re lucky we’re in New York, because if we was in St. Louis, I’d shoot your ass just for being a flunky,” said Josie, spitting at him. Mike looked at Josie in disbelief, then looked over at Russell.
“Damn! Are you sure about this one? She seems crazy as a mother fucker,” said Mike, shaking his head. Russell started laughing at Mike’s reaction, because he knew Josie was crazy as hell, and that’s what he loved so much about her!
