Matter Force Induced Convection

As with so many of the things we have considered before, in the context of the Matter Force, understanding the origin of the convection in stars and planets becomes trivial. When we turn our exploration inward and look at what happens to a non-solid rotating sphere, we see in the simplest first approximation that the mass can be divided in two. Half of the mass is in an inner sphere, and the other half is in an outer spherical shell. If the density is uniform throughout, the dividing line between these two halves is at a radius that is approximately 80% of the radius of the sphere.

As the inner 50% of the mass rotates, it produces a counter-rotating mattermagnetic field outside of it in the volume outside the 0.8R radius. At the same time the other 50% of the total mass in the outer shell produces a counter-rotating mattermagnetic field in the region inside the 0.8R radius. These mattermagnetic fields produce two separate counter-rotating mattermagnetic loops or eddies that meet near the 0.8R spherical shell dividing the two fractional masses. This phenomenon is illustrated in Figure 13-1.
