Religion: Religion may generally be defined as a nation’s belief system relating to ultimate reality and the meaning of life. In some countries, multiple religions are practiced, and each one has specific beliefs, patterns of behavior, activities, liturgies, and so forth. The “language” of religion includes the concepts of God (or gods), life, sin, death, the afterlife, sacred writings, theology, and so on. Each religious ethnos is composed of religious leaders and their followers, devotees, or believers. We should realize that a distinct approach is needed when proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom to people of different religious ethnos, such as Roman Catholics, Jehovah’s Witnesses, Buddhists, and Muslims.
