Chapter 14

Alrec carried his little Slayer to bed, gently placing her on the turned-down sheets as she gazed at him with lust and affection. Her blond hair fanned over the pillow, and he took a moment to bask in her beauty.

“Kilani,” he whispered, stretching over her and running a finger over the soft skin of her cheek. “You’re so beautiful, sweetheart.”

Sliding her hands around his neck, she drew him close and brushed a sweet kiss over his lips. “Show me.” Her nails impaled his shoulders, causing him to groan. “I haven’t done this in a long time. I hope I remember how.” Biting her lip, she grinned, adorable in the dim light of the candles she’d lit when they returned home.

“I’ll remind you,” he murmured, pecking her lips before trailing tender kisses over her neck. Her melodious laughter surrounded them, and Alrec knew he would hear the sound in his dreams long after he returned home. Pressing kisses to her flushed skin, he made his way to the valley between her breasts. Gliding his hands under her back, he unhooked her bra and slid it from her body, dropping it to the floor as he gazed at her pert nipples.

“Careful with the bra,” she rasped, closing her eyes as he cupped one of her breasts in his palm. “It’s the only one I have.”

“Then perhaps I will destroy it so I can see these pretty breasts more often.” Grazing his thumb over her nipple, he reveled in her gasp as the tiny bud grew taut. Lowering his head, he murmured, “Open your eyes, little one.”

Those midnight blue orbs drifted open, and Alrec felt a jolt of awareness in his solar plexus. By the goddess, he’d never been so consumed with a woman. His only wish was to please her—to imprint their lovemaking in her mind so she would remember him long after he returned to a life without her. Sadness swamped him at the thought, so he pushed it away to focus on his little Slayer.

Opening his mouth, he rimmed her nipple with his lips, mesmerized by the emotion in her gaze and her reddened cheeks. Closing his lips around the taut bud, he began to suck her, the motions smooth and methodic as her nipple peaked against his tongue.

“Oh...god...” she moaned, threading her fingers through his hair, clutching tight as he loved her. Alrec smiled around her supple flesh, pleased at her soft purrs of pleasure. Sucking her deep one last time, he gently kissed the taut nub before drifting to her other breast and repeating the same torturous, tender ministrations.

“Feels so good...” she murmured, head tossing on the pillow. “Holy shit, I’m so freaking turned on. From a Vampyre...never would’ve thought...aarrgh...”

Chuckling, Alrec sucked her nipple several more times before drawing back and flicking it with his tongue. The deft motions sent a flush across her pale skin, and her back bowed upon the bed. The scent of her arousal permeated the room, and Alrec’s body began to quiver with the intense need to taste her.
