The declaration of modern Witches and Wiccans, as well as Freemasons, is “So mote it be,” an archaic way of saying “It is so,” “So it is/will be” or “So may it be.” A Christian or Jewish magician might say “Amen,” meaning “I believe” or “So be it.” Egyptian style magicians might use the Sun god name Amun, which some think is the source of the word Amen, as the creative force.
