Dad spoke up then. “Tammy, that is all well and good. And I'm glad that you agree with your mother's terms, but they will have to wait until you get back.”

Now I was confused. “Get back?” I asked. “Get back from where?”

I could not believe what he had just said. There was no way I was going with Tommy to our grandparent's house! I was going to spend my summer with Kyle.
