Sasha walked into the apartment, stumbled to the living room, and slowly fell on the floor. Giselle instantly started laughing over the rom-com movie that was on. She was playing the movie so loud that Sasha could hear it from the hallway.

“Rough night?” Giselle laughed as Sasha picked herself up from the floor. She kicked off her shoes and took her bra off from under her dress, sitting down next to Giselle on the couch, placing the bag of food on the coffee table.

“What were you thinking setting me up on those dates? Really, girl? Really?” Sasha laughed as she set out the containers.

“Girl, you were pretty desperate, and you made that money, right?” Giselle said, grabbing one of the containers. “What do we have here?”

“I got a steak in one, nachos in the other, and seafood mac and cheese. Oh, and there’s some shrimp tossed in there somewhere,” Sasha told her.

“Greg texted me and said he had an amazing time. He wants to meet you again! Isn’t that so cool, sis?” Giselle said, opening the containers and picking around.

“Are you joking? He left like right after we got the food and didn’t talk to me the whole time. He was also rude as hell,” Sasha said. How could Greg really have thought that their date was a good time? If there hadn’t been food, Sasha would have been out of there so fast. The mac and cheese was the only thing that kept her going.

“Yeah, he’s kind of quiet. But super rich. Like extremely rich,” Giselle said with a mouthful of mac and cheese.

“Well tonight I had three first dates that were also last dates. I ran out on Paul too. That guy’s a total creep,” Sasha said.

“Yeah, I kind of figured it might be awful, but Alexa says he gives her ten grand a month just to take care of him like a baby,” Giselle said laughing.

“Ugh not letting you set me up on dates again,” Sasha said standing up. “I got to get the heck out of this dress!”

Sasha walked to her room and changed from a dress to shorts and a t-shirt quick. Her normal night time t-shirt was usually pretty big on her, but this time, she had to stretch it a bit to get it to fit across her hips. She started to regret eating all that food that night. She walked back into the living room, trying to resist binge eating the rest of the leftovers.

“Girl, I’m only telling you this as a friend and out of the kindness of my heart, but you’re getting a little thick,” Giselle said, laughing as she grabbed the nachos from across the coffee table.

“No, sis, you’re totally right, I’m not mad at all,” Sasha said. “After I help you finish the food, I’m going on a diet, I promise.”

“It’s just weird ’cause like, you haven’t really been eating a lot lately, you know? You’re always cooking rice or like noodles or some real light shit,” Giselle said, munching on a nacho and opening another leftover box.
