‘I’ve already eaten.’ He replied. ‘I left some bacon and eggs for you and Steven by the stove. He’s still asleep so you can go ahead.’ Josh kept staring at the paper. He didn’t want to look up and shout at her that he knew what an unfaithful whore of wife she is.

Angela walked in to find that Josh had indeed cooked. ‘I wonder what has gotten into him today’, she thought to herself. She helped herself to the crispy brown bacon and scrambled eggs, as well as some coffee. After breakfast she headed off for a slight trim. She thought her hair might need to look different for a change and a few highlights wouldn’t be too bad. All the while she hadn’t noticed that subconsciously she was getting ready for tonight. Maybe focusing on the small inconsequential things would make her less nervous. She went along her day as usual and by the evening she had decided.
