Generally, we judge the success of a project according to the NPV. Accordingly, Fig. 6.6 compares the best NPV for the drilling scenarios. While the 5 wells scenario produces the maximum NPV, and the 4 wells scenario produces the second optimum NPV. Also, the 4 wells scenario can be an adequate choice, mainly if the capital budget for drilling and completion is limited.
