"So, when are we going to revisit this whole idea of Levi getting bossed around by his tiny, pregnant omega?" Ezra laughed. The rest of the team were chuckling, but I didn't give a shit.

"Lower your voice, asshole," I said when I noticed Cody paying a little too much attention to us as he stood talking to Preston by the door.

Noah stood and punched me in the arm. "I gotta run. My mate is already on his way out the door. But Levi? You might as well admit it, man. You're whipped, I recognize it when I see it."

"If you don't watch it and hurry up, you'll find new meaning to the word whipped," Preston teased as he called across the room in a loud voice.

"Whipped, you say? Not the bossboy—I have a feeling that's more Levi's speed," Ezra teased.

Zeke shook his head. "Dude, not cool."

"Ignore them, Levi. He's just jealous because he doesn't have anyone in his life who’s willing to spank his hairy ass yet," Boomer added.

I flashed my friends a cocky grin. "You boys can think whatever you want, but trust me, I'm the alpha in this house. If you want to know who's the boss around here, you're looking at him. I ain't no pussy."

The guys were still guffawing as they made their way out the door a few minutes later. I shut the door behind them with a grin after I'd seen them out, only to turn and see Cody standing in the entrance to the hallway with his arms crossed over his chest. He had that dominant look in his eyes again.

He stepped to the side and stuck his thumb over his shoulder toward the bedroom. "Our room, now." With that, he turned and walked down the hallway, as though confidently expecting that I would follow. Which, of course, I did.

I walked into the room, and found Cody standing in the center of the floor between the bed and dresser. He pointed to the rug in front of him. "You will strip, leaving only your underwear on. Then you will come and kneel before me."

My muscles electrified all at once. I wasn’t sure if Cody meant anything sexual by this, but I couldn’t help but hope. I had to keep it cool, though. I didn’t want to push Cody toward anything he wasn’t ready for. No matter how certain he looked on the outside right now, I knew the horrors he had been through.

As I ripped my shirt over my head, and tossed it into the hamper, I questioned him. "Am I in trouble? What did I do?"

"I didn't say you were allowed to ask questions, now did I? In fact, I believe I gave you some instructions—now hurry up, I'm still waiting for you to get over here and kneel."

Once I'd stripped down to my underwear, I hurried over and dropped to my knees facing him. Remembering something I'd seen in a porno, I put my hands behind my back and looked down at his feet submissively.
