Chapter Thirteen

Quinton wasn’t logged on yet, so I started my chat session with Yalisa, instead.

FFCU_KChristopher: Sydney thinks I’m cheating on him.

FFCU_YKnight: When has Sydney not thought that? He’s been thinking that ever since you married him.

FFCU_KChristopher: I know, right?

FFCU_YKnight: What is making him think that this time?

FFCU_KChristopher: ’Cause he stupid

FFCU_YKnight: Well, that ain’t nothing new, no offense, but something had to happen for him to all of a sudden start thinking that.

FFCU_KChristopher: It’s really kinda crazy. I decided to spice it up in the bedroom, but then he talking ’bout, where I get that from.

FFCU_YKnight: Oh, you tried some new tricks on him?

FFCU_KChristopher: It wasn’t even tricks. It was just a little bit hotter than normal.

FFCU_YKnight: Sydney need to stop trippin’ and go with the flow.

FFCU_KChristopher: Girl, I get tired of having to fight with him at every turn.

FFCU_YKnight: That’s why I’m glad I’m not married.

FFCU_KChristopher: From what I’ve shared with you, do you think I’m unhappily married?

FFCU_YKnight: What makes you ask that?

FFCU_KChristopher: I’m just curious about what you think.

FFCU_YKnight: I think you and Sydney have some issues that need to be worked through.

FFCU_KChristopher: Like what?

FFCU_YKnight: Like him not doing his best to take care of his family.

FFCU_YKnight: Like how he doesn’t treat you the way you want to be treated.

FFCU_YKnight: Like how he almost makes you beg for stuff when he’s sitting on a ton of money that he thinks you don’t know about.

FFCU_KChristopher: Ouch!

FFCU_YKnight: I’m just saying. You asked.

FFCU_KChristopher: I know.

FFCU_YKnight: Why? What’s going on?

FFCU_KChristopher: I’m just thinking about our marriage and what I’m getting out of it.

FFCU_YKnight: You’re a better woman than I am.

FFCU_KChristopher: What makes you say that?

FFCU_YKnight: Because I wouldn’t be putting up with that mess you be going through. Un-uh, that couldn’t be me.

FFCU_KChristopher: Well, he is my husband and I did make vows to stick with him for better or for worse.

FFCU_YKnight: Then it doesn’t matter what I think, whatever is important to you is what matters.

FFCU_KChristopher: I talked to Quinton today.

FFCU_YKnight: About what?

FFCU_KChristopher : Nothing, really. We’ve just kinda kept in contact ever since we hung out in Vegas.

FFCU_YKnight: YOU WENT OUT WITH HIM??? WHY DIDN’T YOU CALL AND TELL ME???

FFCU_KChristopher: Not went out—hung out. There’s a difference. I don’t go out with other people.

FFCU_YKnight: Hung out—went out—same thing.

FFCU_KChristopher: No, it isn’t.

FFCU_YKnight: Were y’all at work, or did you go to lunch during work hours or dinner after hours?
