Zo had chosen to take a walk to gather his thoughts during his lunch since Cameron was taking a nap. As he strolled, he’d spotted Snow. She looked like a beautiful, dark-skinned, hood ornament as she perched on the hood of a brand new Impala. It still had the temp tags on it. Zo didn’t know if he was more attracted to her or the rims that were on the 2019.

But now, Snow couldn’t be uglier to him. Zo hadn’t felt so disrespected in his life. He knew he had been constantly getting played by people in the hood because he had fallen off. Some of his passion for getting back was to make motherfuckers eat their words.

He walked back to the store and finished his shift, trying to think of a master plan.

Once the store closed, he gathered a sleeping Cameron from behind the counter and climbed into the car he had borrowed from Raheem since he was going out of town and didn’t need it. He turned the music on, ready to head to the Blue Star Motel.
