At some point, Carson and I left to go pop some popcorn in the microwave downstairs. When it was done, we were walking up the stairs side by side, giggling about something that I don’t really remember.

We paused in the hall, talking outside my door and I looked to the left of us to the wall. I saw our shadows, but it looked like there was a third in between ours. I nudged Carson’s arm so that he would look too.

Just as he saw it, it started moving. It grew about a foot taller than our shadows and glided along the hall all the way to the bathroom at the end and seemed to disappear into it.
