I recommended Collegiate Pacific (BOO) twice over six years (you’ll see it below under Sport Supply Group, a company it later acquired).

It took six years for the first recommendation to pay off (a 127% return, working out to 14% annualized) but only nine months to pay off the second time (more than 100%), which reinforces one of the themes of the book that, while it may take a while, the market always recognizes value eventually; we just have to have the courage and discipline to focus on the fundamentals of each company relative to price and wait for the “crowd” - the broader market - to catch up.
