Chapter 19

Nina sighed deeply as she lay across Marcus' bed, sinking her body into his mattress trying to relax even more. Marcus had just given her the greatest head ever, and she was feeling so high and majestic after he made her orgasm. It was absolutely beautiful and Nina longed for Marcus' loving arms around her, but he was too busy sorting things out with his mom and Jeremy.

Nina's wedding was in five days and she couldn't wait. However, she still had a few last minute things to do with her baby. They both had to go last minute cake tasting for their fourth wedding cake. They also had to partner up the bridesmaids and groomsmen together. But Nina wasn't too bothered to be doing all that today. She was exhausted from doing freaky things with her boo, and now she needed to rest.

Nina was about to drift off into her majestic dream land, when suddenly her white Smartphone began to ring and Jhene Aiko’s voice sounded.

I love me... I love me enough for the both of us...

She grabbed her phone and pressed the green answer button.

“Hello?” Nina gently asked.

“Nina! It's Marisol! Come quick! Madre fainted yesterday, she hasn't woken up yet! I think she's in coma! And no one wanted ju to know but I had to tell ju. Nina! Come very quick!” Marisol suddenly ended the call.

“What?!” Nina instantly snapped herself out of her happy feelings. She was trying to process all that Marisol had just told her.

Mom's fainted? In a coma? I need to get out here! Now!

Nina quickly got up, grabbed her black flats from under the bed, found her purse on the floor, threw on her cardigan, her blue jeans and rushed out of Marcus' bedroom.

She had noticed how immediately silent the living room was, ever since she had shouted out her shock from what Marisol had told her on the phone. Nina darted straight towards Marcus' door unable to hide her tears, she could hear Marcus calling her name but she made no eye contact with him, Jeremy or Helen.

She paid no attention to Marcus' callings. Even when he ran out to chase her to find out what was wrong with her.

She wanted to tell him, in fact she wanted to feel his strong arms comforting her, but she just couldn't bring herself to stop. Once she got inside her car and started her engine, she knew there was no way she was going to turn back now. She needed to get to her mom.

When Nina finally arrived to her family home, she was shaking; Shaking because she was frightened, nervous and heartbroken. Her mom couldn't be in coma, she couldn't leave her like this... Without even saying goodbye. Nina eventually found the courage to calm down and stop shaking, so she could open her house door.

At first she wanted to shout for her mom, but quickly realised where her mom would be. Her bedroom. Up the stairs she ran, desperate to see Angela, she needed to hold her and tell her she loved her so much.
