Chapter 23

I had set the wheels in motion for my plan, which included Alicia. I told Kenny I would be flying out to Baltimore to finalize my mother’s will, and that’s when Alicia was to come over to my house and seduce Kenny. I had already purchased miniature cameras to set up all over the house.

Octavia’s father was a retired private investigator, and had put me on to this place called The Spy Store. They sold cameras small enough to fit in everything from a teddy bear to the crack of your ass. I purchased enough of them to set them up in my living room, bathroom, kitchen, and every bedroom in my house.

I didn’t think Alicia would break her end of the deal, but just in case she did, I figured if she and Kenny had sex anywhere in my house, I would catch them. The only way I wouldn’t was if they got down and dirty in one of the closets. If they did, then they deserved to get away with it.

Kenny had no idea what I had planned. He was on cloud nine, walking around the house singing and dancing. You would think I had cut him a check from the way he was acting, but I hadn’t. However, I had filled his head with promises of the two of us going shopping and vacationing in the Caribbean once my money started coming in. I even went as far as having him go out on a shopping spree. I told him to write checks on his checking account, because in a few days my checks would be deposited in his account. He had no idea that I already had money. He was also clueless to the fact that every check he wrote was going to be returned. I kept all the items I purchased locked in the trunk of my Honda, and the keys to my car on me whenever he was around.

To keep my front up, I got up every morning and got dressed like I was going to work. The truth was that I had actually already quit my job. I planned to find my passion in life once Kenny was out of it.

My plan was in full effect. I told Kenny I had to fly out to Baltimore for the weekend to meet with my mother’s attorney. The truth was that I was going to be in Las Vegas with Savoy the whole weekend. I’ve never been to Vegas, and there was no one who I’d rather experience “Sin City” with more than Savoy.

I made reservations at the beautiful MGM Grand for Savoy and myself. The Celebrity Spa Suite we were staying in was fully equipped with a wet bar, separate living and dining rooms, master bedroom with a king size bed. A separate bathroom, that included a whirlpool tub, separate shower, double vanities, and marble countertops and floors.

After we checked into our room, I slipped into the bathroom to change into my bathing suit.
