Do your feet ever stink? Well, try smelling your feet after a day of walking around in the heat. Okay, don’t do that. That’s gross. But you can see how sacrificial the sinful woman’s act was. She kissed and poured perfume over Jesus’ dusty, dirty feet. And then she cleaned his feet with her tears and hair.

And girl, this wasn’t some 50-percent-off Ralph Lauren perfume we buy at Target. No. Perfume back then wasn’t cheap, it was a luxury. It was expensive.

Again, I know this scene sounds a little weird, but look at the heart behind this woman’s actions.

What did her actions communicate? How did she feel about Jesus?
