“I want to see all of you,” I heard him say when the stars had finally started to fade, and the ringing in my ears began to ease from my climax.

I didn’t notice when he had gotten rid of the rest of his clothes, I was so caught up in my own moment, but I was aware of his fingers at my top and bra, pulling them away from my body at last.

When my hands found the back of his head and I breathed and moaned into his ear, he dug deeper into me as if writing his name on my walls.

I felt when his own climax was near—my body picking up the vibrations and the rhythm of a volcano about to explode.

I wrapped my legs around him and watched his face betray his previous concentration, lining up with his pleasure.

I felt helpless yet triumphant when he exploded, and I delighted in the helplessness of his face as orgasm overtook him.

I felt as if my spirit raised to meet him. There was no doubt I was his.

Then I quickly looked away.

Seeing him in the hold of carnal sensation was one thing—facing those serious blue eyes once he recovered was quite another. Any moment now, he’d try to look me in the eye and say something—something I probably wasn’t ready to hear. He had conquered me and I couldn’t face it just yet; I still felt too vulnerable to him, too weakened by his amorous words and the way he’d been able to quietly and then aggressively seduce me. I couldn’t face the fact that in such a short period of time, he had managed to change my entire world, and possibly, the course of my life.

“Lisa,” he began softly, and I turned my head further away, burying it halfway into my pillow.

I felt his hand at my jaw as he turned my head toward him. I kept my eyes closed once facing him.

“Lisa, look at me,” he said, and then kissed me on the forehead.
