Chapter 10

"I've died and gone to Heaven!" was the sound that I was suddenly awakened to. There was a World Army cop in Nina's room, at the foot of her bed, leering at the both of us. I slid my hand under the pillow with the slightest movement I could make and pulled my gun on him before he knew what happened. Nina was already upright in her bed, shaking her head at the cop.

"I'm not working, pig, you need to go."

He took a step toward the bed as if he was going to get in anyway so I cocked my .45 to make sure he got the message. He did, froze in his tracks.

"You see this patch?" he asked pointing to his arm, "Means I'm a Officer of the Government -- not a Civie. You don't want to fuck with me, Lady."

"Pig. Civilian. Everyone bleeds the same when I shoot them."

"OK, OK. I get it. You don't like guys. Don't blame ya, neither do I. You do what the sexy hell you two do and I'll watch. I'll pay, you two sexy bitches are worth each flat."

"CHICHI!" Nina yelled.

"What's the problem? I said I would pay. You gals don't have to watch me, I won't even touch you," he said licking his lips.

Yolanda walked in the room first followed by Miss Chichi and Slash. I figured Julia went on her way having seen me safe at Miss Chichi's.

Miss Chichi was very annoyed with the cop, "I said THREE doors over. Y'all police is getting more stupid by the minute. She ain't working!"

"Don't look that way to me," Yolanda said with a displeased look on her face. "I thought some folks was coming in here to get some information. Guess I guessed wrong."

Nina gave a sharp look to Yolanda, "Don't go spreading shit you don't know, Yola. Sometimes what you see ain't what you see."

The cop spoke up. "Miss Chichi, she doesn't to have the gun on me. I told 'em, I'll still pay. They are fucking sexy. I won't even touch 'em, I promise. The Blonde one, she could just put her face in the Black one's titties… Damn, you girls are hot," he said as his hand hovered toward the growing bulge in his pants.

Yolanda was still upset about Nina and I being in the same bed, naked.

"I see two nekkit bitches in a bed. You telling me that ain't what I see?"

"You know what the fuck I'm talking about," Nina said becoming more annoyed.

"Some people just gotta have every damn thing. Ain't enough to take over a nigga's shit, practically gave it to you. Now a bitch want to track a nigga down to try and take her soul but also have some good pussy for the road. Talk about having your cake and eating it too? Guess that's all you could expect from crackers these days, huh?"

"Look take your old crabby, eavesdropping, nosey ass on out of here so we can straighten this shit out," Nina said.
