“Let’s not end the party too soon,” Tony says, grabbing Lexi. “It’s your turn.”

He tosses her down on the hood of the Viv’s car, his big dick bobbing in the cold air.

“Billy,” she screams, trying to twist away as Tony yanks open her jeans.

“Go fuck on your own car,” I call. “You’re going to dent the Corvette.”

“Dude, for the last time, my cousin ain’t interested in your Yankee ass,” Billy says, grabbing Tony from behind and dragging him off Lexi. He has his hand in her pants, and she’s jerked along with him. She crashes to the ground, tumbling across the gravel and cursing as her hair flies in her face.

Billy and Tony start to scuffle, and after a minute, it gets heated, and fists fly. I pull Vivienne around the other side of her car while they go at it in the middle of the dirt road. I’ll get involved if needed, but considering Tony’s just got Theo as backup, I don’t think it’ll turn into much of a brawl, even with the two guys from the bonfire who came over to watch me finish off Vivienne. I don’t recognize them, so they probably go to Willow Heights, but there are still more of us.

Tony gets Billy on the ground, and Theo steps in and kicks him while he’s pinned. Maddox strolls over and shoves Theo away, and the smaller guy goes reeling. Maddox is the biggest guy on the team, not just tall but fucking ripped, and even though Tony and Billy are both good sized football players, they look like children in Maddox’s hands as he hauls them apart and drags them both to their feet.

“Enough,” he growls. “Tony, you live on our street, and that comes with certain benefits, but you’re not one of us. When you go after one of ours, you forfeit any protection we offer. Is that what you want to do?”

I hug Vivienne tighter to my chest, wondering if I should try to split now that they’re talking gang business or avoid drawing attention to the princess here.

“What about him?” Tony protests, throwing an arm in Billy’s direction.

Maddox lifts his chin and gives Tony his stone face. “Billy’s one of us.”

“She’s not,” Tony says, pointing at Lexi with menace burning in his dark eyes.

“I may not be a Crow,” she says. “But I belong here more than you ever will. Now put your little dick away before you lose it.”

She leans in and spits, and it takes a second for me to realize she spit right on his dick, which is the very opposite of little, and still hanging out of his pants. The air is sucked from the group as everyone stands there, waiting for him to react.

“You fucking cunt,” he says, starting toward her.

Maddox holds up a warning hand. “Take another step and see what happens.”

His voice is a quiet rumble, but the weight it holds stops Tony in his tracks.

He glowers around at us like he’s just realizing that his brothers aren’t here to back him up.
