When I woke up, I immediately tried to jump up thinking I was still in the living room of Jack’s high-rise condominium. Once I finally took a good look around, I realized I was actually at home in my own damn bed. How I got there, I didn’t have the slightest clue. I tried to sit up in bed completely but fell back on my pillow because the room spun around in circles. I lifted my head high enough off the pillow to look around the room again looking for Jamaris, but he wasn’t anywhere in sight. I laid my head back down and I started to get nauseous when I figured out that I could still smell this fat, biggie-sized asshole on my skin. I didn’t know where Jamaris had been and I was still so hung over so I wasn’t currently able to search the house for his Johnny come lately ass. I leaned over on my nightstand and pulled the cordless phone from the dock.

I had just started to dial Jamaris cell phone number when he walked through the door carrying several gifts. He was the last person that I wanted to see at this point. He wasn’t anywhere to be found when I needed him the night before but now he wanted to play like he’d been around all the goddamn time. As far as I was concerned he could keep his sorry ass gifts. I didn’t want shit right now except to get down to the bottom of things.

“Good morning, baby. If you were trying to call me just now I couldn’t answer because I was trying to carry all of your presents in the house.” He smiled like it was Christmas day or something.

I swear he could be so annoying sometimes. I didn’t give a fuck about these gifts. He could’ve taken all these meaningless things back to where he purchased them from.

I was far from smiling and I definitely wasn’t in a good ass mood. He acted like I could be bought for the right price and no matter what he did and no matter how fucked up it was, as long as he brought me some high priced item that it was all good. And I didn’t feel that way at all. I couldn’t be bought for any price. He had me completely fucked up on all levels.

“Oh, so you’re finally answering your phone huh? Your phone is on your damn hip now. Where the fuck was your phone last night when I tried to call and text you a million times? Your friend, Jack, raped me and I tried to call your simple ass and you weren’t anywhere to be found. Speaking of, I’m getting ready to call the police right now and press charges. I understand you do business with him but right is right and wrong is wrong.” I pressed the cordless phone on and started to dial the number when Jamaris grabbed the phone from my hand and hung it up.
