2.Atmospheric CO2 concentrations are measured daily by two independent monitoring programs, Scripps and the US’ National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), at Hawaii’s Mauna Loa Observatory over 3400 meters over sea level. It should be noted that Trump’s budget for fiscal year 2018 proposed a 16% cut for NOAA. The data collected from these two sources are discussed in the CO2.​earth site. There you will also find data for yearly global warming trends discussed here. The global emissions data for 2016 are from R. Pidcock (2017).
