Any facilities identified as being connected to the V-weapons were potential targets for bombing. This meant BD personnel had not only to deal with abandoned V-weapons in the area, but also unexploded bombs left over from Allied raids. An unidentified V1 ramp smashed by bombing (above) and the V1 storage and launch site at Siracourt, France (below), give some indication of the intensity of some of these bombing raids.
