Tennyson

Ten had to admit Jude had really come through for them, especially since the man in question was still resembling the Incredible Hulk in color. They’d gone on a glass-bottom boat and snorkeling expedition that afternoon and Jude had gotten seasick.

He’d been okay once the boat was anchored, but on the ride back, he’d been spewing and hanging off the back of the boat like a marooned mermaid. Thankfully, Ronan had volunteered to stay with him. Ten had the tendency to be a sympathetic puker. Once he heard or smelled someone else blowing chunks, he’d be barfing right alongside them.

They were all gathered on the back patio of the Hamilton Princess Hotel. Truman and Carson had no idea why they were all here. Thankfully, they’d agreed to come. He’d been a little unsure about his grand plan after Ronan had told him about his chat with Jude.

“Are you ready to begin, Tennyson?” Captain O’Donnell asked, his Irish burr in full effect.

No wonder Jude couldn’t get enough of this man. His voice was liquid sex. That, combined with his dreamy blue eyes and tall, slim frame and this man was a perfect ten. An eleven even. Ten nodded his head. “Yes, sir. Ready to go.”

“Please call me Noah when we’re off the boat.” Noah’s eyes sparkled in the twilight.

Tennyson’s heart was pounding in his chest. Ten had no clue if it was because of the way the gorgeous ship’s captain was smiling at him or because he was about to drop the surprise on his friends. Either way, he needed to pull himself together. “Sure thing.” He cleared his throat. “Everyone, if I could have your attention?” He raised a hand high in the air.

Ronan stepped up to his side, reaching for his free hand. “Ten and I want to tell you all the story about Bermuda’s moongates.”

“Is that what the arch thingy is behind you?” Cassie asked curiously.

“Moo gate!” Laurel announced and then mooed loudly.

“It’s a symbol of love and good fortune,” Tennyson began, “island legend claims that lovers who walk through the arch hand in hand will be blessed with eternal love and happiness.”

“Sign us up for that!” Cassie grabbed Cole’s hand and smiled up at him.

Cole rested a hand on his wife’s pregnant belly. “I agree, sign us up, but what’s the captain doing here?”

Noah grinned at Cole. “Jude thought it might be fun if I were on-hand in case any of you wanted to renew your vows.”

“Jude thought that?” Fitzgibbon scoffed. “Your dick must taste like friggen ambrosia if Jude thought of that on his own.”

“Ah, Dad…” Greeley elbowed his father and pointed to Laurel. Thankfully the little girl was too busy pressing kisses to her mother’s face to have heard Kevin’s comment.

“Oh, sorry. I, uh, wasn’t thinking,” Kevin mumbled sheepishly.

“That’s the thing, Fitz. You never think,” Jace muttered under his breath loud enough for Tennyson to overhear.

Ten glanced over at Ronan to see if he had also overheard Jace’s harsh words. The tight look on his face indicated that he had.
