Chapter Six

Devin swore he felt as if everything he had been craving just got handed to him. This was what he’d wanted since he first laid eyes on her in person. An indescribable feeling came rushing over his entire body as he stared down into her big brown eyes.

His mate finally agreeing to let him make love to her was Krishell’s first step in accepting him as her mate. She hadn’t given him her total acceptance in becoming his for a lifetime, but he would make sure she would before the night was over. He hadn’t come all of this way to lose her now.

Tonight was going to be a turning point for both of them, and he prayed she was ready for it

“Baby, you don’t know how much I have wanted to hear you say those words.” He swung her up into his arms and carried her out of the living room and down the hallway to his bedroom. Pushing the bedroom door open with the toe of his shoe, he continued on inside, stopping by the foot of the bed before sliding her down his body until her feet touched the floor.

“Why are your lights on?” she asked as he stood her in front of him.

“I’ve never liked walking into a dark bedroom,” he answered as he took a step back from the bed.

Before he finished undressing Krishell, he took in the sight of her smooth, creamy brown skin, high, full breasts and lightly toned stomach. She was a sight to behold, and he planned on making love to her for the rest of the night and well into the morning.

To keep himself from moving too fast, he kissed her softly on the mouth as he stroked her smooth, bare back with his hands. He gently picked her up and laid her in the center of the bed as he continued to plant kisses down her neck, over her breasts, pausing to suck each hard nipple into his mouth, and then he moved downward until he came to her skirt.

He made quick work of her remaining clothes until she lie naked. The sight of her made his cock grow another inch inside his gym shorts.

“You are so perfect,” he whispered, slipping off the bed to remove his clothes. Standing perfectly still, he watched with masculine pride as her gaze wandered over his body.
