Jalapeño
Prepare bread by buttering every slice on both sides. Mix cream cheese with cumin and garlic salt. Then spread a light layer of cream cheese mixture on every other bread slice. Sprinkle jalapeños over top, followed by mozzarella and cheddar cheese. Top with reserved slices of bread. Cook one at a time in a medium frying pan over medium-low heat, turning as necessary until cheese melts and both sides of sandwiches are browned.
NOTE: If you have a sandwich press, grill sandwiches for about 6 minutes on medium-high heat, turning once, or until cheese is melted and bread is toasted.

12 slices sourdough bread, divided
½ cup butter, softened
1 (8-oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
dash cumin
dash garlic salt
1 (4-oz.) can diced jalapeños (or ½ cup diced fresh jalapeños)
1 pkg. sliced cheddar cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
