God shouts similar phrases to you every day, but your heart must be quiet to hear Him. In 2 Chronicles 16:9, the Bible says that God roams the earth searching for people to encourage. Zephaniah 3:17 (NCV) suggests that when God encourages someone, He stays with them and gives them confidence: “ ‘The LORD your God is with you; the mighty One will save you.’ ” God also acts as a cheerleader: “ ‘He will rejoice over you.’ ” And when you accomplish something great, He will shower you with compliments: “ ‘You will rest in his love; he will sing and be joyful about you.’ ”

Encouragement is powerful. If it wasn’t, would God roam the planet shouting accolades to His children? Learn from His actions. Be an encourager often, each and every day.
