The further you scroll down, the more your thoughts become venomous

You feel like no one really cares about you, so you won’t care about them

Nothing can help you, not even a vacation, a workout, or a bottle of rum

You can’t recall when this feeling started or why it started

Your body’s still functioning but your soul has departed

Maybe your partner left you, a friend used you, or a family member let you down

Like a lifeguard watching you struggle in the water and letting you drown

Now you’re stranded in the blackness and silence of outer space
